Yes, being a member does not exclude you from paying per service, however, it does add on to the benefits you may receive.
Yes, you must pay a copay of $25 per visit in order for CoCi to cover the rest- unless you are a veteran!

We understand that things happen! If your client booked an appointment and did not show up or inform you, unfortunately we would not pay any fees for this inconvenience. Due to our limited resources, we must allocate funds where it is truly needed.
Counselors of Color recruits all mental health professionals of color to be listed on the directory. Individuals who are not of color may also be involved with the organization by offering group counseling services to our national LGBTQ+ support groups, serving as a member on our board of directors, partnering with our organization, sponsoring our organization, or offering CEUs to our professional community.
Given that Counselors of Color operates on the availability of donations and funds, we request insurance cards, to determine if our members have any out-of-network benefits. If so, your insurance may pay a determined amount, and we will cover the enrollee’s balance. Providing this information is highly suggested, this allow us to stretch our funds to other disadvantaged individuals.
However, if you so happen to see a provider that is in network with your insurance, we will require the provider to bill the insurance directly. It is important to note that Counselors of Color does not pay any deductibles.
